PIC orientation in UK1300 USB programmer I just replaced my old serial Warp13 programmer with a UK1300 USB unit, supposed to be 100% PicKit2 compatible. Anyway, the documenation is sparse to non-existent and I can not find anywhere how to insert the PIC devices being programmed (socket orientation and alignment). The unit has two ZIF sockets, 28 and 40 pin. My old Warp13 programmer came with software that looked like the normal PicStart application and it had a button I could click that described the chip orientation for the device I was programming but that feature does not exist with my new programmer that only came with the standard Microchip IDE and PICKit2 software.
